Our Story
The wedding yet to come!
Like many people across the country, plans and celebrations were postponed, rescheduled and moved due to the pandemic. Susie and Will were due to get married at home in 2020, then again in 2021 but alas that wasn't to be either. This was then followed unfortunately by the closing down of the tent hire company they had booked, leading to them pondering what to do next.
Fast forward to a late-night internet search followed by a bidding frenzy on an auction site, a tipi dream wedding began to form. With the tents now ready to go when a new date is chosen, a practice party seemed the only way to test them out.
Let the party begin
Willows 3rd birthday, after the lockdown was lifted showed the joy a party under a tipi can bring to everyone who came to celebrate this beautiful wee girls birthday. Susie, Will and the family then had the thought that it would be great to be able to share this wonderful structure, to provide the same excitement and awe for other celebrations.
Nightsky Events began to take shape.
Nightsky Events, like our Willow, is young, full of fun and excitement for the future. We hope you will come on this new journey with us and see what we love about a celebration in a tipi.

The ultimate working mummy! Susie is the multitalented one of the crew who oversees the day-to-day operations and accounts, along with raising our two girls.
Susie graduated from Glasgow Uni after studying Law. Having worked within the family business for over 15 years she can cope with everything that comes her way.

The jack of all trades within the crew, who can turn his hand to almost anything. Will heads up the build crew to make sure everything is there and perfect for a party.
Will has spent many a year running projects and teams within construction and hospitality. Creating amazing spaces for people to have a good time and relax.

Where to begin... Ellis is Susie's brilliant, horsey, outdoorsy sister who is always on the go, driving her truck all over the country.
Ellis's true talent is storytelling, and showing the social media world the ups and downs of competition with horses.
Running the socials for Nightsky Events, she will be keeping everyone up to date with everything we do.

The true leader of the crew, the fun-loving girl who is the centre of everything we do. Willow is the chief mischief-maker and director of party games, who now has a little partner in crime, Lottie, to keep us all entertained every day.
